Recently I have had a number of clients, students and job seekers, wanting their resumes updated and made to pop! It is so important these days, when there are so many applicants for a single job, that your resume stands out for the right reasons. It can have a pop of colour, absolutely ok.
Content, however, is king and these days employers don’t want the have to look through multiple pages, especially when they are getting 200+ applicants for a single position. So best these days to keep them to one page where possible.
I have included two examples of resumes that I have recently completed for Alvina, and Tia. Both are used with my client’s express permission. Tia’s resume has her business logo on it and was specifically in the yellow and blue tones as they are her companies colours and she wanted to tie both together.
